car jerks on accel

from first gear going into second, the car jerks when i try to floor it, or just go heavy on the accel. i thought it was my filter or my intake, but i looked at it and the gasket was fine.
no CEL no nothing.

it tries to pick up in first gear and it just... well its hard to explain. when it gets into second tho its fine.
i have an auto... anyone have similar or know what it could be? the tranny? im only at 60,000+ miles

the speed? if i slowly put my foot on, its hardly noticeable, but when i want to jet from zero, theres heavy movement, like it wants to but something is holding it back in that gear. once it up shifts its fine.

ive never gotten it down to where i had no fuel, also, idk what it feels like to not have a lost spark.

actually if the car jerks but it does get to speed it can be one of the many things. injector, fuel pump, spark plugs, maf sensor, cam sensor, ecm, tranny , tcm, coil or plug wire, sucking in water, dirty air filter, bad wire connection, bad short in ecm connecter or chasis, and more. Usual is the maf sensor failing itll usually throw a maf code or the injectors.

This sounds like fuel pump. Since the pump will get warm whwn theres no gas ro keep iit cool unless ure fuel filter is bad

Fuel filter is on the underside of the car above the rear axle.

Makes sense if you touch the MAF sensor opening the car thinks it's getting less air and cuts back on fuel when in reality its still getting the air and leaning out a ton.

Don't touch the sensor wires on the maf, just get some maf sensor cleaner and spray it down real good. You should never touch the sensor wires, even with a q-tip.

Sounds like you have a wire loose or something, though the car shouldn't completely die. My car will idle (terribly) if I unplug the MAF.

my lsj does the same thing with no cel. When I give it gas and let off of it.. It's not to bad but I can stand it. Guys at my shop told me it could be mount? I had it in right after a misfire, after that the cel went off. Tyis was about 4 months ago. Car old has a intake and catless dp.
