CAR POWERLESS!!! like no batteries...

....so i left my car last night....
knowing how everything is auto...even the cabin light turns off after awhile if u leave it in the "on" mode...but theres no way it was on the "on" mode...

anyways...theres no power to my car....remote doenst work...
ignition doesnt even have the "attempt to start" sound....dead no lights charger doesnt work
dead dead dead....my car is about a year old from brand new...

if i left my cabin light on....would it drain the battery this fast this dry?!
my car didnt get broken into...so im sure its not "disabled" but looks liek the car is...

The light should turn itself off, yes.

Have the battery tested. Batteries sometimes only last a year or two, actually I have seen many batteries dead after only 2 years.

Other option is that there is a short somewhere.

your battery probably got really cold/frozen as you know how cold it is in vancouver, maybe the battery acid froze and just needed to warm up

It could still be a bad battery, so if it decides to die again get the battery tested.

take a battery from another car and throw it in yours see if you turn on, or better yet, use some jumper cables to see if you can start your car, if you can, leave it on to recharge your battery, if you battery was just run'd down from a light on, a recharge should fix it, but if yoru battery is really bad than its bad and time to replace, i replaced the stock delco after 2 yrs, threw in a optima yellow top, havent had a issue since i put it on
