Without the car running it's always going to be on, but getting the codes read would be good. i doubt it's the position sensors. could be, but fuel is more likely.

I’m working on getting the car back to me along with a card reader. Have to rent a dolly. I’ll send video of it cranking as soon as I can.

Is renting a dolly really that much cheaper than a tow?

Got someone to tow it guys and he ended up being a licensed mechanic and he looked at it a bit before loading it up and he is 95% sure the timing belt slipped. *finger crossed *

It costs at least $100-$150 for a tow and I could have rented a dolly from Uhaul for $60 but I found someone with a trailer to do it for $40. So hard to find help and I help so many people.

these engines don't have timing belts. They use timing chains. If he thinks the engine is out of time, you probably have chain tensioner problems.

Sorry he did say timing chain. He said he thinks it slipped. Gives me some hope after my brother in law told me to call the junk yard.

Just wanted to let everyone know my car jumped time by ten teeth and in doing that bent all but two valves and a couple bolts were pushed into the engine somehow. Gotta let her go I guess. Unless my Dad wants to screw with it but apparently the snow and salt has done a lot of damage underneath and is not worth saving. It is to me but when your mechanic doesn’t have his heart in it like you it’s just not going to work. Thanks for everything. Very very sad day. Never been so attached to something before.
