car running poorly

My car has been running very poorly for the past couple of weeks. It has had choppy acceleration, bogging, and has also had a huge loss of power. This all started when I filled my tank up with 94 octane gas from the same sunoco station I always go to. The only difference is that I filled the car up in the morning instead of the afternoon or evening like I usually do. I figured I just got a bad tank of gas and ran it down until there was about a quarter tank left. I then filled up with another tank of 94 octane from the same station and the car slowly gained all of the power back over the span of a few days. It no longer had choppy acceleration or bogging. While driving the car today it felt like it was losing power and bogging again. The choppy acceleration is also coming back. Could there still be bad gas in the tank? I just don't understand why the car would get so much better and then start to run bad again.

Yeah bro. It sounds like the mods.
Actualy it's the intake.
Intakes don't work well with Intense tunes. The reflash they run does not include parameters for aftermarket intakes.
You have to go to a dyno and get it tuned. That will fix it. Can I get a Amen.

The thing that I don't understand though is that the car has run just fine with the intake up until this point. I had the kit installed in May at Intense's shop.

Yeah but runing lean for a long time is not good aspecialy as moded as you are. It could be taking it's toll but I don't know. That intake has something to do with it. If you called Intense right now they would probably tell you the same.

what's the usual temperature and humidity level around in your area? It could be water in the fuel from condensation. I've had that happen to me once.

But yea it does sound like you've ran lean for a while with the intake on and the intense tune. Call Intense up and ask them about that and if they are willing to offer you a custom tune for your car.
