Probably a dead cell in the battery. Do a load test to see if the battery is readily able to hold a charge. If you can jump start it, it's not the starter. If the battery reads 12V-14V when it's running, that's normal because the alternator is charging it.

Check the voltage on the battery while someone tries to start it.
You need a big load on it otherwise you are reading residual voltage.
When cars running you should read between 13 and 15 volts dc ,has to be higer than 12 to charge the battery!

yea.... im going to see if i can borrow a friend's vat 45. ill do a load test. and i will check my alternator as well... im sure the alt is fine, rpd reads 13-14 volts while running. which is a lil low for me tbh. but it should be fine. i think if i just do a nice slow charge over night, battery should be fine.

hahahaa.... do you have a radar detector??? i realized leaving mine in the car, even tho the radar detector was off, if its still in the car, it acted as a parasitic drain when the car is off...

also, open your trunk, take spare out, and feel the carpet on the bottom of the trunk. is it wet?
