Car won't start - troubleshootin. 2.2 S/C
07 s/c auto 2.2
it has been in the shop for a while now
originally because, after i made a pull on the highway, and i blew an o-ring off the fuel injector, which sprayed gas everywhere. it sucked.
so it was towed to shop, replaced o-ring, test driven, and it was fine,no leaks, then was pulled back into the shop to swap the pulleys on the s/c, and before anything else could be done, the car basically just died.
car keeps cranking, but wont turn over at all.......
no codes or anything either fyi
i know numerous things have already been tried, such as checkin the coil packs, reflashed tune, the fuel pressure was low and replaced the fuel pump, but it didnt fix the problem - car still wont turn over..
I dont think cylinder one is firing either..
idk i think another s/ced automatic 2.2 guy had similar starting issues, but im just trying to see if anyone can shed some light since me and Fred are puzzzled with this piece of **** and have been trying numerous things and it still wont fire up.
next thing we were going to check is the crank position sensor.....
anyone have any other ideas? or how i even blew a o-ring either and then it drove perfect after we replaced it but then randomly died and wont turn over/// llemmme know thanks!

did the injector come out all the way or just out of the block?
Im a o7 2.2 sc aswell. and I never understood how you guys are running the stock fuel rail, there was too much play with the injectors, I had a lsj fuel rail so I used it, and it seats the injectors in alot tighter.
have you done a compression check on cylinder 1 or which ever the injector had popped out of?

I had issues starting after my build it was due to the map I used, no cels no nothing ,I swicthed back to the stock bar and it fired right up. If you running the stock map, maybe it blew, try a junk yard for a spare and see what it does.
i'm going to check back this week see what the deal is with it....but does anyone else have any other input on starting issues?
i mean the car was running and then randomly died. so idk what else we can look into . lemme know thanks

any other suggestions with car not starting ???
is it really DEALERSHIP time ??? what the hell would the dealership do anyways, especially since its tuned.. thats why i dont want them to **** with it, but do they have software to better diagnose the problem ?

Lets start over from the begining.
Is there spark on all four plugs(take them out ground them and turn the car over and physically see the spark) until then I wont belive anything else.dry plugs offbefore reinstalling!
If you have spark on all four are all four plug wet with fuel after trying to start it.again physically check
Remove them and look.note dry them off before reinstalling!
If you have spark on all four and they are all gas soaked after trying to start it
You are then either dealing with a timing issue or its flooding prematurely also could be a weak spark.
Let me know how you make out
And will go from there.
