Question cat problem

so i have had my SLP loudmouth exhaust on for 2 days, and while speeding up to get onto a freeway, around 5000rpms my cobi kicked back like i hit the rev-limiter, then the tach stops reading and my car starts bogging down. then she stalled out. when i finally got it started again there was a few loud pops and a lot of white smoke billowing out of the tailpipe and the CEL came on. i got it home and shut her off. tried to start it again no CEL but now my catalitic converter is making popping/cracking/nails in a can rolling around sound. i was thinking that my exhaust out flowed my cat causing it to fail. HELP PLEASE!!!!

well your exhaust can't exactly outflow your cat, considering it only gets what it is given.
IF your cat failed it would not be because of the exhaust itself.
maybe something happening during the install sure..maybe a leak or something causing a flux in pressure or some crazy nonsense like that
maybe it was just time for it to go...maybe it was the way u got on it..
but it's not going to be because the exhaust outflows ur cat.

Just my personal opinion of course....

yeah it has nothing to do with ur exhuast... i would say it was just its time to go lol.. eventuily they get cloged up and full and its like trying to push air through a window screen... it flows just fine now put stuff cloging the holes in the way... it will not flow at all and then the pop would be the center of the cat blowing out... i would take off ur slp and shake it out( theres probably alot of the cat floating around in there and in the mufflers.
