check engine light...for servicing?

I've been a bad boy and let my oil meter go to 0% before i got my oil change. Anyways, I got my oil changed today, and as soo as I started the car, my engine light came on! I asked the lube guys if they tampered with anything and they said no, but one of the guys had an OBD II scanner. The car read off a P2229 code. So I called the dealer and they said that's a barometric sensor problem?? never heard of that.
So, I then called OnStar and they couldn't read anything wrong with the car! They said that the light will come on when the car is due for service. never heard of that either? So, I guess I'll just have to take it down and see what's going on. Anyone heard of this light come on for servicing, or had that code?

The CEL and P2229 are not related in any way to the oil change or other maintenance item.
BUT
They may have unplugged it to get a little more room to access the oil filter as the connector and harness can get in the way. Maybe look and see if it's unplugged??
Here's a pic

So, the check the BARO and the SCIP to see if they're loose or unplugged? Now that you mentioned it, they were tampering near the bypass valve to get to the filter. I think you may have found a good find! But you also say it wouldn't trip the engine light?

Update: I think they lube guys disconnected the BARO wire harness, and started the car up before they realized they didn't reconnect it; too late. tripped the engine light. This is my theory. Will the light go away after a while on its own, or will it be on forever until it's reset?

Well the BARO specifically and yes that will turn on the CEL if it's unplugged, but it should have taken 2 ignition cycles to bring it ON.
Once it's reconnected it will take 3 consecutive passing ignition cycles before the light will go off.

UPDATE: The idiots at the lube shop, broke two of the wires on the harness next to the BARO connector. I will have to splice them back together tomorrow. At least the car runs fine.

I just changed my oil yesterday. I unplugged one of the sensors....is it a map sensor? idk but the one that gets in the way of the oil filter. Started the car up. Started to lope like I had a very very aggressive aftermarket cam installed (i was like SWEET! FREE CAM MOD!) and then stalled. I then realized it was the sensor I unplugged. I had a cel but my aeroforce gauge was not working so I couldn't read the code. It eventually went away.

You hold the two buttons on the right hand side of the steerign wheel. It will say reset oil? and you hit the 2nd button on the right to reset it. Took me a while to figure it out the first time i changed my oil. I never read the manual.
