Angry Check engine light, what now??!!?!?!!?1!

I am down in Delaware(70 miles from home) getting dinner and I come out and get in the car and my Check Engine light is on!!!!!1!!!!!!!!11 I have never had one the entire time Ive had this car, I always use Sheel gas, change my spark plus every 5000 miles, and only use Mobil1, my gas cap is tight too. I have no idea what it could be or what to do...I am so far from home and dont know what to do...i hope nothing is wrong I cant afford to buy a new car this one is only a year old..........)

Any ideas whats wrong or how to fix it? Its getting late and everything is closing. I already put my ear on the engine while my friend revved it and I didnt hear anything wrong.

Welcome to the world of LSJs...

Guarantee it's something ridiculously stupid

Grab a scanner or someone with hpt to check it out, and clear the code.

Engine Misfire Detected P0300 is a common one

check for an intake leak, like a vacuum hose or something, or your gas might be crappy

I wouldn't get to upset about it. Your car is not going to blow up and your not going to need a new one. If it starts flashing then you can be concerned

I dont know how to get the "codes"

The orange engine light is just blinking, I dont see a pattern it seems to be steady, so I guess thats code "1"? or It could be 300....I didnt think to count that high

^^aahhhh. I see... It's time to replace the blinker fluid. Just go to autozone and buy a bottle. That should fix it. I happens to all of us.
