i Have a cobalt LS 2.2L on Fe5 suspension and H&R Springs And 17 xxr rims. the car recently just started making a clicking noise when i turn and brake the sound seems to be coming from directly under me when i am sitting in the drivers seat, the guy at gm said try tightening my cradle bolts, hate to sound like a noob but where are all the cradle bolts to tighten, and if this is not the case what could another problem or soulution be, thanks AJ

 

constant ticking?

if its a constant ticking it sounds like an axel,

if its just a click then its probably your weight shifting on the seat...

 

forget the gm guy, a cradle bolt is the dumbest thing he could have recommended. Its not a moving part and its a giant not so likely to move bolt holding your engine crade (big black steel frame) to the body of the car.

What kzak104 has said is what you should go with.
