Angry clogged cat wtf!!!!!!!!!!

ok guys i have a clogged cat... now i have vibrant header/dp combo... should i just gut the cat and run catless??? these are my engine mods... stg 2, 2.9 pully, gm tune, vibrant header/dp, hahn 3" catback, RAW intake,ZZP heat exchanger... I dont know what to do!!!

just gut the cat

or

go to autozone and pick up some pipe and have it welded in to replace the cat...

or

pick up a small resonator of the same diameter and run that instead of the cat.

put a res in place of the cat. so u can keep the rasp and sound down a lil bit

doesnt matter. a well known for quality atleast that way u know its legit and good. common sense ya know. would u rather have a guy new to mechanics work on ur car or say, hahn?? lol know what i mean?

idk. go to our vendor websites and look. or jcwhittney.com or summitracing.com ur pick. u kno wut ur looking for. or go to the exhaust place. they usually have them on hand.

The glasspack resonator is usually the one exhaust shops have on hand.

It's quality, and cheap.

He's on a GM stg2 tune with COT enabled.

Disabling COT entirely, can lean you out almost a whole point.

In his case, I'm sure he feels a slight power gain, it's not anything significant.

CAT OVER TEMP

it dumps fuel once the set temperature threshhold is met to lower EGTs.

Messes with your fueling

Something along those lines
