Well they called me back, put on the new turbo, and what do ya knoooooooooow. It still has the same problem lol. So I have to get my old manifold back buy all new gaskets and **** so they can see if that helps. I have a feeling I'm gonna spend lots of $, and not be left with any purple parts.

ya agreed, spray some carb cleaner around the gaskets and see where its leaking from. putting the stock manifold back on is a waste of time and something you can do yourself rissa

It's not at my house that's the problem.

Different car dealer, ASAP. This one doesn't know what he is doing and is playing parts swap till he gets lucky. Is this at your expense? If so, tow that thing out of there before it becomes out of control.
Don't be afraid of offending him, Marisa. This is Spencer and YOUR money he's spending now.

i know was more of a why pay them to do it when you can do it yourself. pay them to do their jobs and track down a cause before they start changing out parts. i hate lazy mechanics that don't know how to actually diagnos anymore. /rant lol

understandable. if you don't want to do that then have them confirm that its the new intake mani causing the problem before you bring in the old one. there are ways for them to do this such as spraying carb cleaner around the gasket area's and if there is a leak then the engine speed will increase for a moment and then come back down. you can do this with vacuum leaks as well

reusing them shouldn't have caused this unless they were a crush style which i'm pretty sure they are the silicon style. i've had my intake mani off a few times with the stock gasket in there with no problems but that doesn't mean it didn't get ripped or damaged while it was out. so ya start there and have them check for vacuum leaks while they are at it.
