Cobalt SS Low coolant
2.0 having issues with Low coolant light, No fluid was flowing through the filler neck so i called a family mechanic explained i might have a clog in system, bad IC pump or even issues with sensors. I filled up the resevior and filler neck. Noticed once the filler neck was filled that fluid was flowing, but super slow. Car Temps don't go over 195 degrees but it's 15 degrees outside so it should be lower. Also i was sitting a parking lot. Anyone think that i have issues or is it just cause it's cold

If you are talking about the filler neck in front of the motor, you have 2 issues. Not one. The low coolant light is likely because your coolant level sensor for the coolant for the MOTOR is bad.
The lack of flowing of coolant for your supercharger is because your IC pump is bad. They are two completely separate systems.

Just stay out of the boost and you should be fine with a dead IC pump. The pump itself is around $100 and from what I hear can be swapped pretty easily in an hour or so.

A dead IC pump wont show a code usually ..... The car will just pull power due to the hotter intake charge. In the winter with it being so cold .... you might not even notice unless you do a few back to back pulls . The low engine coolant light would be the 1st concern .... maybe the cold weather has something to do with it as coolant will dip a little lower when it's cold. Or it could be a bunch of other reasons like a leak or headgasket ...... hard to say.
If coolant was moving when you filled the IC neck then the pump is working .... it doesnt move fast at all . Now you have to see if you have a leak or figure out why the IC system was so low to begin with.

Its cold outside here also and my display on my dash keeps telling me low coolant everytime I turn the car on. Looked under the hood and the coolant is a lil below the cold fill line on the surge tank and no coolant in the IC filler neck. Temps on engine dont get any higher then 185. Don't know if I have the same probelm as you do or if something different. Was going to fill it up with coolant tonight and see what happens.

at least someone out there has similar issue. does ur Coolant look like its moving in the filler neck it hasnt change since i bought it so i think the IC pump has been broken forever or idk what im looking for. hopefully a mechanic can tell cause i dont know wtf im looking for. My filler neck braket is broken so it hangs near the supercharger which kinda vibrates.

Ok, then if I dont have a coolant leak anywhere and the coolant in the surge tank is just a lil below the cold fill line how come my car would be telling me low coolant everytime I turn the car on. And the engine temp heats up quicker then it usually does.

Ok, so its not hurting anything. Plus its only like 22 degrees outside and my IAT gets up too like 80 something also which seems odd since its so cold outside. What about my IC filler neck also no showing any fluid when its cold and not running, what do you think top it off?

Turn the key on so the pump kicks on. if you cant hear the pump on, it might be dead. try and add coolant to it with the key on, it should take it and see it start to fill up and flow.

Ok thanks man, answered my questions and been a lot of help. Do you use the pre-mixed 50/50 or do you buy the stuff you have to mix with water? I think I had some pre-mixed stuff before but somebody threw my stuff out.

how about this. I had nothing in the filler neck area. So i filled it up to the top while car was running. It filled up and stood there for like a min or so. went driving, it ended up going down. filled it up again. Now when i start it it has about an inch of fluid when started.
