Talking Cobalt tc backfire!?

SO HOW ABOUT IM AT A RED LIGHT, THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN AND I DO MY NORMAL SHIFTING FROM FIRST TO SECOND...THENN I USE A LITTLE MORE THROTTLE BEFORE GOING INTO 3RD...I PRESS THE CLUTCH AND I HEAR THIS AMAZING POP..YAY BACKFIRE. ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS ON A STOCK COBALT?

yes conditions have to be perfect.

Mostly get it on a slow start and shifting from 1st to 2nd.

I can do this on demand lol.. I tack out 1st and make a granny shift to 2nd and Pop pop!! I almost gave a old lady a heart attack once it was so loud.

As others have said, NLS. I think it also pops if you're at a stand still and red line the Cobalt... that or maybe my SS is just farked up

Its not loud with stock exhaust just sounds better at WOT and it will only blow a flame out when it backfires or some NLS.. Your not gonna get a steady blue flame

Sometimes I get backfires so loud you can hear them echo off of overpasses and such. Just normal shifting. It seems to happen more if you hold 3-4k in 2nd and upshift quickly.

Then again it has to be 85 degrees or hotter or it won't happen.

ya mine backfires so much its almost lost its pizzzaz lol and i shoot tiny flames but thats what u get being catless with a muffler delete
