Had a rough winter of driving short distances several times daily with no long trips, I know this can cause some water buildup within the block but after several oil changes over the last 2 weeks and warm weather with many long drives I'm still seeing this waxy buildup. Using mobil1 full sythetic.

My dip stick has milky film as well, sorry no pics of that but if this repeats after tonights oil change I'll post them up asap.

Here are a couple pics of what I'm seeing, my coolant overflow tank seems ok, no oil.





and this is the 'old' oil, came out clean, no milky film but it does seem to have a strong gas smell to it.

 

looks to be typical short trip aka city driving build up

 

i had condensation problems, i got a 750ml catch can and filled it twice with water. i had a bunch. heres some pics of what i was dealing with



go on some long drives, itll go away

 

Ok thanks guys, gonna do a nice highway jaunt this weekend and go from there.

 

my gsxr does the same thing if you go on a bunch of trips before it gets to operating temperature and you shut it down.
