Constant P0100
Constant P0100
Okay so here's one I need help with, driving along and I come to a stop, start off again but out of no where I produce no boost, and feel like a slug, so I go home and scan it to find a P0100, okay bad MAF, so I replace it, clear the code and go on. now it's come back, another P0100, no boost, hovers over 0. I could clear it again and all work fine or I can rid myself of this problem altogether, any ideas guys? The only thing I have in mind are the intake and exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoids as I've read on a how to post here on to fix the various DTCs, unless it's a problem I'm just not seeing, I do have a Hahn CAI with a K&N filter with a MAF port that is easily within stock range of the MAF no modification made to the length, but could that be dirtying the sensors in there even though it's a dry filter? Any ideas on how to fix this would be great! Thanks in advance
Hahn CAI diameter of the tubing is different than the factory tubing size. Its not how far away the sensor is from its stock location but rather the changes in tubing diameter that the air flows through.
You have a CEL because of the intake. You could have easily deducted this if you put the stock intake back on and didnt see the CEL pop up anymore.

no. Put the stock intake back on, clear the code. See if it returns. If you dont see it, then its 100% what I said. The intake tube is bigger than the factory tube diameter and the car does know it. meaning you didnt tune the car to account for the different intake diameter. There are sooooo many threads on this in every possible car forum out there. Its shocking people still dont know this as fact yet.
