Cruise control, A/C, and info screen not working

My GF has an '06 Cobalt SS (2.4L auto) and her cruise, air, rear defrost, and information display aren't working. I haven't had time to take a look at it yet, and figured I'd ask some questions before I do.

For the cruise, the light in the steering wheel button lights up, but when you go to set the cruise it won't set.

For the A/C, the fan control still works, but she can't adjust the temperature or where the air blows. None of the 3 button controls for the a/c, rear defrost, or the max a/c light up when they're pushed.

For the info display (odometer, temp, etc.) it won't scroll through the options and will only show the odometer and outside temp.

My first thought was that this is solely an electrical problem, maybe even as simple as a blown fuse. But then I was thinking about it and it could be a vacuum problem. In older vehicles I know the cruise & heater controls were vacuum controlled, but I'm not sure about on her Cobalt.

So I guess my question is this: Of the effected systems on her car, are they all electrically controlled, or does the cruise and ac/heater system vacuum controlled??
