Cruise Control not working

For some reason or another my cruise control stopped working. When I press the button the turn it on, the led light comes on. Then, when I press the set button, a message shows up in my display for a fraction of a second, then quickly disappears. Any idea why it would do this?Cruise Control not working

Check your tail lights, specifically the third brake light. If you have a tail light out or one of the three bulbs in the third brake light out, the cruise will not engage.

Hopefully the top clutch switch isn't fubar'd. Mine was, but I disabled the code and just have to pull up on the clutch pedal to make it work.

A slipping clutch will also cause this same issue and cruise will not engage

I had the same problem. It also caused the revs to drop very slowly when you push the clutch.

Burnt out bulb in 3rd brake light most likely.

I've had the problem but it was my LED 3rd brake light, one connector fell out, some tape fixed that. For all you saying it's the brake light, I doubt it is. The reason is that the engaged DIC never comes on at all for that.

Nice so the new clutch slip test for dummies will be "trying to going uphill in cruise control mode" haha.
