Dash lights!!! Need help :(

I've been reading around but can find anything on this. I got a set of hids not to long ago... After about two months while I was getting gas about two hours away from home my lights went out and didn't know why.. Long story short I get to work the next day and looked around under the hood, my fuse was melted inside my fuse on my harness.. And my ground fell off. So I put a new fuse in and made a new ground.. I've been keeping an eye on it till yesterday, I got to work and my dash lights went out .Everything looked ok under the hood no fuse was was blown, even took a fuse checker and checked them all to see if I was getting power to them and it was good. Later I pulled the lamp fuse to see if that could of been it and it qas okay, went to start the car and it was dead. Lol could of been my stupid ass for leaveing something on but I was only went back into work for 30mins, so I jumped it and it started up... And the dash lights works all the way home but didn't this morning. They also come on when I turn the key off which I thought was weird. I've seen people have problems with their tail light which I haven't had a problem with. Typing all this on my phone so bear with me haha

well. i originally bought some cheap ass websites hids the first time and they my passenger bulb or ballast blew in a week. i went with them because i saved 10 dollars with them compared to where my brother recomended. ha bad idea. if i were you. i would find out whats with you hid's. maybe email the site u got them from and ask y that would be happening and or wait for people on here to respond. and if its true that u have the wrong type of hid's then i would recomend hidpalace.com. after going from the crap site to this site i saw REDICULOUS differences. the new hids are SO much brighter, the ballasts are so much sturdier. the kit came with better setup stuff like bolts, zip ties etc etc.
