console lights are actually part of the parking light syatem... i had that problem when i wired up my halos... i guess a live wire touched something, and my speedo, rpm, and radio lights didn't work.

thanks guys. I did have halos put in a couple months ago. I will go check the fuses
*bump* Ok update time. I looked at the fuses, nothing seemed wrong at a glance. Its dark out so idk. But my taillights also dont work, nor do my parking lights. My brakes show up though. Which fuse should I be looking for? (name)

I don't know much about fuses, but I'm thinking check your manual, it has diagrams of which fuses are where, check the ones that aren't lighting up. That'll be a good start.

a bad fuse... when you look at the colored part of the fuse you can still see through it, and in side of it there is a peice of metal connecting the two prongs that insert into the fuse box, if the fuse is blown it will be disconnected from the prong...
Also, I'm positive that its your parking light fuse now, its in the fuse box under the hood i belive its a 15 amp fuse and if you've never had to replace a fuse here is a quick how to...
1. Pop the hood
2. Open the hood
3 Locate the fuse box and open it, it will be on the drivers side
4. After the fuse box is open look at the under side of the cover
5. Match the location of the fuse labeled for the parking lamps on the underside of the cover, to the correct location of the fuse in the fuse box
6. Pull the fuse out using either needle nose pliers, or the fuse puller supplied with your car.
7. Examine the fuse to see if it is blown. (Here's where it gets tricky LOL)
8. If it is not blown you can replace that same fuse. If it is blown look at the blow fuse and find the number on it and replace it with a fuse that the has the same number on it.
(For those that can read number they are color coordinated... so if the fuse is blue replace it with a blue fuse)
9. Check your lights, or what ever it is that your replacing the fuse for.
10. Upon a sucessfull check close the fuse box.
11. When the cover is secured, close the hood.
12. After the job is done go grab a cold beer and feel great about you new fuse job.
also if the fuse continues to blow, check the wiring to see if there is a bare wire anywhere... if so cap it off and tape it up, unless it connects to something... in that case reconncet it and tape it

Check your parking lamp fuse. When I had my gauge cluster lights out, the parking fuse located in the engine bay was burnt out. Try that. When I replaced it, my gauge cluster lights came back on. I also noticed that my taillights didn't work. Brake lights were fine but the taillights were out and when I replaced the parking lamp fuse, everything worked fine.

do you have halos? if so how are they wired? check the headlight wires, and the tail light wires for a loose wire, or a wire that is broken or touching any type of metal.... you can also try a bigger fuse... i don't really recommend it but, maybe you just have to much stuff hooked up to a fuse that is too small...
