Detonation?!

Hey guys, I was driving down the road, and floored it in 2nd, and about mid way through it detonated(paused for a split second), and was fine. An hour later, same thing..what's the deal? Is it the fuel?

Could be the throtle position sensor has a dead spot in it.
That would be my guess or it flooded slightly also could have fouled the plugs abit.
