did i over look something? airbag light is on after door swap...
now i am wondering did i overlook something or is this a coincidence? i swap the passenger door from a g85 load car to a side air bag/onstar car.... i would think that the doors should be the same. however after doing this i happen to get a airbag light and service airbag message.... did i miss something or did i just fall off the shortbus and this is a timely problem that happen to come about at this time?
I have been researching the air bag problem (I am having an air bag warning as well). I read somewhere on this forum that there is an airbag connector under the carpet amongst the floor next to the door kick plate. Any chance you would have effected that?
one under each seat i dont know if you moved it or came loose but i had racing seats in mine and the airbag light and service air bag always came on plugged it back in when i put stock seats in and it went away
Check your A-pillar, when you did the door swap you may have jarred your A-pillar into touching the sensor for the side air bag. It happened to me (still happens) with my aftermarket dual pillar.
Just a idea
