Im having a problem with my driver door not closing all the time.

Has anyone else had this issue??

It is a clip the detatches for the latch

It used to happen on my old Cobalt but hasn't happened yet on this one.

chevys are always bad for door pins & bushings. had no problems on the '05 yet, though. Its not an expensive repair though, just mainly labor to r&r the door.

It costs nothing to pop the inside door cover off and reconnect it

Mine wont close sometimes its like something gets stuck with the mechanism. I squirted some silcone in there and haven't had a problem since.

usually a winter thing, happened for the first time this summer the other day. usually a slam or pulling on the latches will free it up.
