Maybe a grommet has come loose in the firewall? Sounds pretty weird.

You sure it's water, right?

Well as long as it's water and you're sure of it... then it should be an easy fix, although maybe hard to find.

If not... most probably your heater core is leaking. I would have called condensation off of your evaporator core but it wouldn't be leaving THAT kind of water on the floor.

mine did this...and if it is the same you need to take the headliner back and clean out the run off for the sun roof...there clear tubes that go back and forth...

this happens to alot of srt's. for them its that door that opens and shuts when you put the air on recycle air. its called the blend door or something. thats how it leaks in for those. idk thats my 2 cents tho

Sunroof drain would be my first bet. It runs down the A-Pillar then outside but if it plugged up or disconnected along the way the water has nowhere to go but down.

I just had to fix the sunroof drain on my wifes malibu .... water was running down the inside of the A pillar and puddling on the floor. I pulled the Apillar molding and the headliner back a bit and saw the drain had pulled out of a 45* elbow fitting.

Holly2007,

Were you able to access the sunroof drain? Hope your investigations go well!

So I found the leak and it was the sunroof drain. Unfortunately the hole it goes in on the side was sealed shut with tape which leads me to believe it was never put in to begin with. Just my luck! Spent 2 hours today vacuuming out water

I have this same problem with water dripping out from under my dash and all along the A-pillar. So is this sunroof drain something I will have to replace or simply an easy fix?

Nvm. I tried pouring some water into the drain and saw it was all draining in under my dash so I went in and ripped off the A-pillar and saw my hose was simply just off. So I reconnected it and tried pouring some water down it agian and BAM! it worked like a champ! Now Im just stuck cleaning up all the dirtand crap that got into my headliner.
