Not sure if this has been posted or not, found this while i was trying to figure out how to make my projectors come on when i unlock my car. This is from a Malibu forum but i am pretty sure it counts for all gm with DIC.

Quoting from the Owner's Manual:
With the ignition on, but the car not moving (the engine can be on or off) -

Press & hold the Information Button and the Reset Button at the same time for 1 second, then release. The reset button is the button with the arrow on it.

Once you're in the personalization menu, press the information button to scroll between the available personalization menu modes.

Press the reset button to scroll through the available settings for each mode.
Once you get to the desired setting, press the information button to select that setting.

To Exit the Personalization Menu -

1. Wait 10 seconds without pressing any button. The Personalization Menu will time out.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. When you reach the end of the Personalization list, it will automatically
exit.

The available Personalization Menus are as follows:

1. Oil Life Reset - Resets the Oil Life Monitor to 100% when the engine oil is changed.
2. Units - You can select either the Metric System (i.e. Kilometers per hour, degrees celsius), or the English System.
3. Remote Start - Allows you to enable or disable the remote start feature.
4. Lock Horn - The Horn will Chirp when you press lock on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE).
5. Unlock Horn - The Horn will chirp when you press unlock on the RKE.
6. Light Flash - The exterior lights will flash when lock, unlock, or trunk is pressed on the RKE.
7. Delayed Lock - When you press the lock button with the door(s) opened, the doors will not lock until 5 seconds after the last door is closed.
8. Auto Unlock - Allows you to select which doors will automatically unlock when shifting into park or turning off the key (Driver's Door Only, All Doors, No Doors).
9. Unlock - Allows you to select when the doors will automatically unlock - either when shifting into park, or turning the key off.
10. Exterior (Perimeter) Lights - Allows you to select whether you want all the exterior lights to turn on when you select unlock on the RKE (Perimeter Lighting).
11. Language - Allows you to choose 1 of 4 languages to display information (English, French, Spanish, German).

 

nice. once i accidentally switched to the french language and man that was hard to figure out

 

^^ when i bought my 06 SS/SC a while back it was in a diff langauge too i was wtf?? haha

 

That would have drove me nuts trying to figure out, lol.
