Drivers Side Headlight Out

So, I got pulled over this evening for an out headlight. Didn't even realize it at first. Later I pull off, jiggle some wires, and nothing. I think, awesome, it's just a burnt out bulb, easy fix. Shut the hood, and boom! There it is! Now the light works. I figure there must be a loose wire. I haven't really had a chance to look at it much, but I thought I would post and see If anyone had or has a similar issue, and how they fixed it/ or what they're doing about it. If someone has the answer, it will save me a lot of time before I start digging deeper into it tomorrow.

Thanks!

It's still most likely just the bulb. The force of the hood closing may have brought the filament close enough to itself to fuse together again. I've seen it happen many times before.

I'm with the slammed hood = bulb turning on. Happens when the filament breaks and is then jostled. Usually functions until you turn the light off again.

Mine did this for a few weeks. Slap the headlight and it would light up.
