e-brake/hand brake help please

hello to everyone
first of all i didnt know where to put this thread so i put it in problems.
i just lost the clicking noise of the e-brake/handbrake.
the noise that is tells you that lets you know that the stick will stay up.
well that clicking sound went away and the stick of the e-brake/handbrake wont stay up. i heard a clang, so i pop the cover of the e-brake/handbrake and found this!!!

if is possible that anyone can help me and if this is a easy repair or difficult (meaning that i have to take it to the dealer) i still have the warranty but tomorrow is sunday and you know they are close

so if anyone can help me i would appreciate
Thank you.

Honestly, if i were you i'd take it back to the dealer. Cuz if you try to fix it and the dealer finds out, you run the risk of voiding out some sort of warranty. I would just wait til monday to get it fixed by them. Getting it fixed by them is free too cuz its a warranty thing. It won't hurt your car to just park it in first gear for a day or two. Just try to stay off the inclines if it worries you or something. Oh yea, if you take it to the dealer, put everything back like you found it when you took the cover off, that way they don't give you **** for taking it apart in the first place.
