Hey guys, my friend has a 97' eclipse and his clutch and flywheel went.
My question to you guys is what is the best clutch and stuff to get for his car? He doesn't want to just get it replaced with a stock clutch.

Is is modded? Turbo? 4g63? I have a GSX and I have used the ACT clutch and went through three of them and have never blown the tranny which is a common problem for these cars. The ACT street disk will start to wear out when put under extreme pressure so it will save your tranny but this sucker hooks up real nice.

Get the following:
ACT2600 EXTREME PRESSURE PLATE WITH organic street disk.

I have the fidanza flywheel as well not to sure how this flywheel is im getting it installed sometime next month. Just make sure they step it correctly to the clutch when installing them together.

This is just through personnal experience I don't have any other experience with other clutches but it seems to work for me.

 

he bought it about 3 weeks ago. It is just a GS. and not modded. But will have future plans to mod.

bump at all. i think we are going to go with the ACT2600 clutch, but any suggestions for a fly?
