ECU problems, flashing lights galore!!

Hey guys.

Well, a few weeks ago I went to turn my cobalt on and everything worked like normal. Just a regular drive. I get about 20 seconds down the road and suddenly the little information center flashed "power steering". The power steering then became jerky and hesitant. After tha, almost all the warning lights came on. "ABS", "Security", etc. And when I went to step on the gas at all, it'd stutter alot and run shitty. So I turned the car off, let it sit for a minute, then turned it back on. It sorta reset it's self. The lights were still on, but the steering worked again, and it didn't stutter. Then when I got to where I was going, I left the car off for about an hour and when I turned it back on everything worked like normal. So I just figured it was an ECU hiccup and it reset it's self. So it drove fine for the following week. Then about a week later, it did it again. In the same fashion, power steering first, then the lights, then the hiccups. And when it reset it was fine. So I took it to the dealership and they looked it over. They saw what it was doing and tried all sorts of tuning and everything. Nothing really happened. So short of replacing the ECU, it's not really fixed I guess. It hasn't done it since, but it also hasn't been a week. haha. So who knows. WTF is the problem here? lol.

Here's a few things to note here: 2006 SS 2.4 coupe, auto. No performance modifications, and no ECU tuning. I always change my oil regularly (used synthetic last time), always use the 93, and take great care of the car. Rarely ever beat on it aside from a highway jaunt every once in a while. I have approximately 29k on it. I'm going back to school soon, and need this thing to be reliable...

Please don't be like "Search the goddamn forum." Because aside from ECU issue, i have no idea what to search for. So if you could just respond or just insert a link that'd be fantastic. Thanks!!!

Oh, also, yesterday I noticed my passenger side headlight was out. The LOW was out, but the HIGH works. Is there a seperate fuse or something for that? I didn't think there was? The passenger side bulb is actually a few weeks never than the drivers side (long story).

As far as the ECU... I dunno...

but the headlight bulbs have a seperate filament for high and low... you just lost one... get a new bulb.

Silverstars are supposed to have crap for life expectancy.

I'd go with a set of Luminics Pure Blue!

I had terrible luck with "blue" bulbs. I usually can't see a damn thing. I love the Silverstars, but another problem wit hthem is they don't make lights for our fogs. So that sucks. I've actually had those in for like almost 2 years, since I bought the car. That seemed pretty good for me for aftermarket bulbs. The other lights I've always had good luck with were actually Eurolite bulbs. I had them in my Honda, and I put them in my Monte. They're nice. They're kind of a bluish-white which is what I like. But I'd have to order them. So thatll take a few days... Grr. lol.

Im guessing loose connection some where.
Do a quick check of all your relays and fuses making sure nothing is loose.
