my car shouted this at me on the ride home when it felt like I hit hardcore fuel cut I have not gotten the CEL checked out yet because everything is closed at this hour but anyone know of what could have caused this

also I stoped and shut the car off for around 10 mins with the hood open and it went back to driving fine but the CEL stayed any and all advice is helpful thanks

 

Advice? Pull the check engine code and report back. Sounds like you had a misfire.

 

i had that happen to me at a drag strip LOL ran a 28 at 40mph! hauling ass!

 

yeah it just happens more then likly its a p0101 code or another maf code. mass air flows do not like fiber, water, oilor anything other then air so id ay it was that. turn the car off disconnect the ecm from the connectors for 5-10 mins and reconnect it, start it and bam, it should be gone

 

Me 2. Cept it was just as I snatched 3rd...so I at least got to run a sub 20 second time at like 60 mph

Mine ended up being an issue with the fuel pressure regulator solonoid or something like that. Warranty FTW
