Fan stopped working
Hello,
Last week I noticed my fan stopped working, at first it would only work if I set the fan to 3 or 1 then a few days after that it would work if I set it 4. Now a couple days ago, it just stopped working completely. When I tryt to turn the knob it feels really tight as if it won't turn anymore. The knob itself turns but not the part that it's connected to. I'm assuming I need to replace the whole housing for that AC/Heater controller but wanted to confirm that is the case. Thanks!

No, when all but 1 setting goes. its the resistor. Google it, it takes 10 seconds to replace. Just did mine, along with the blower motor its self becuase a bearing went.
As for the knob not turning, take it apart. prolly dirty
brand new their $50, or take a gamble and go to your local junker yard - i paid $15 for mine there. Worked out for me, considering there is 0 warranty for electrical parts
