What temps are you at while checking this?

Well they won't turn themselves on till your temps are at 223 for low speed and 230. Degrees anyway. Has you car gotten that hot?

A quick search netted this:

The ECM commands Low Speed Fans ON under the following conditions:

• Engine coolant temperature (ECT) exceeds approximately 106°C (223°F).

• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 310 kPa (190 psi).

• After the vehicle is shut off, the ECT at key-off is greater than 140°C (284°F) and system voltage is more than 12 volts. The fans will stay on for approximately 3 minutes.

The ECM commands High Speed Fans ON under the following conditions:

• ECT reaches 110°C (230°F).

• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 655 kPa (240 psi).

• When certain DTCs set

When the request for fan activation is withdrawn, the fan may not turn OFF until the ignition switch is moved to the OFF position or the vehicle speed exceeds approximately 10 mph. This is to prevent a fan from cycling ON and OFF excessively at idle.

Nope, not always. I've also never come remotely close to the coolant temp to turn them on. Closest I've been is 85 degrees C, and I beleive that is 106. It would take a hot day to get them to turn on.

I've been stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on hot SC days and I watch the coolant temp creep up from op temp (about 183F) all the way up to 220 ish, just to see if the fans would come on, but nothing... I end up just turning the heat on full blast for a few minutes to get coolant temp back down.

they kick on at 220+, they do kick in though, you can adjust via hp tuners if you want

Bump. Mine does the same thing.

I do have them set via HPT to come on at 180, but lately they haven't been doing this.

If I turn on the a/c, the fan does come on and the coolant drops back down to 180.

Any ideas?

Very strange. Both fans come on when I turn on the ac. Fuses and relays are good.

When I turn off the ac, it looks like both fans stay on.

Ok never mind. Fan works fine. I went to get a coffee and it went up to 196 before dropping down to 180.

It's been so long since I drove without a/c or the defroster that the fans must've been on every time I drove, lol.

I've got mine set to come on at 100% @ ~190f (when the thermostat opens) and they've been fine...
