recieved the letter to bring the balt in for the steering motor.

I made an apointment with pine belt lakewood nj RT88 and have since heard problems with their service anyone have info on their service dept ?

I go on the 16th..

 

i still haven't received one saying they have parts...I just got the one saying they know they need to fix it...

 

i had just got mine last week as well... hah

 

i had my recall done on my 07 SS/SC and after they replaced it, I can tell the difference. You don't drive a car (hard) for 4 years/89,000 miles and not notice when the steering is different. But the dealership I deal with had it in and out inside of 40 minutes. I kept the old unit as well. It helps that the mechanics are either friends or family there.

i didn't want to change it as I had no problems with it, but a recall is a recall...

 

i had mine done back in may or june? same time my key got stuck in the ignition and they gave me a free oil change too woo hoo! hada get the ic pipe grommet recall done too

 

lulz, havent replaced mine yet. has failed over 20 times while driving and countin

im just a lazy bitch and have 4 old motors at my disposal still too.
