first gear problem

so ever since about two days ago when i come to a complete stop and put it into neutral and wait for about 5 to 10 seconds sometimes i cant put it into first gear.. i have to let of the clutch a then try and put it in again.. any ideas whats wrong? and if u do no will my extended warrentie cover it?

Check your manual, that's normal.

well it happens to me if i beat on the car it will do it for a couple times then stop and it just started to happen but iv only had the car for like a month or 2 so ya..

ya its kinda annoying but funny.. all that is on ur mind it beating the guy next to u but in the end u cant even get it into gear hahaha

get in the habit of putting it into second then going to first

and for reverse, put it in first then goto reverse,

it puts the forks in closer alignment with the next shaft

ok.. i never had a problem with reverse but if i do ill def remeber that.. and second into first will help the problem out a lot?

if first is your issue put it in second
if reverse is your issue put it in first

try it your feel what i am referring to. and if you saw the gear shafts and the forks you would understand why this is a neat trick

ya i read up on it and it was all the same thing so i figured it should just double check ya know? and japeatr ya man i wanted the tvs as well but i got a extended warrentie so in the end i cant lol

just paid her off, bought the TVS, now i need to finish saving for the rest of parts for my future buildup of the engine

well my goal right now will be 300whp on 93 octane

i will be switching to e85 later this year, so i expect around 320

with the mods i have planned i am hoping to end up around 360 whp off spray on e85

heres what i got so far, not just need spare engine for machine work, valve springs, mainstuds and sleeves

i wanna have it tuned right now on the 80s and then switch to e85, so i can swap back if necessary

and yes it will smell like french fries
