Question Fuel Filter

I tried to change my fuel filter and I was following the steps I found on here and it didnt go like I hoped... I pulled the fuel pump relay and ran the car till it stalled, disconnected the battery and when I pulled the fuel line off the filter, gas came pouring out and wouldnt stop. I had to reconnect it under pressure. WHY!? lol

Some gas is still going to come out even after you "depressurize" the lines because there is still gas in the lines, it's just not under any pressure so it won't give you a cumshot when you disconnect it.
