fuel filter

so my car recently has been having a hard time cranking when the motor is warm.I have a brand new fuel pump that I just got 2 days ago and it still happening.I just pulled the fuel filter out and im able to blow through one of the connector ports and feel air come out from the end but on the second one its feels restrictive, any help? car has 82k miles.

yea Im planning on it, by any chance would you happen to know why there's 2 ports on the filter? or is that just required to reach its psi limit

It's just how it recirculates gas back to the tank. The in side on the 2 port side is your feed from your pump, excess gets pumped back out of the filter back into the tank.
