Fuel leak

I started to smell gas around the passanger side of my car. I Jacked it up and noticed gas on the outsite of the tank, by the fuel line that comes from the tank and goes to the fuel filter. Its a very slow leak b/c its not even started to drip off. I think maby the clamp or attachment holding the line to the tank is loose. How hard is it to drop the tank?

Has anyone droped down the fuel tank, I know there are two metal straps but is there anything else I need to do to lower the tank enough to check for the leak.
