gas meter not working
this past weekend i replaced the gas tank of my car, and after a huge headache, i took it to a friends shop to sit there to replace the whole fuel pump, canister, etc.
yesterday when i finaly get my car back, i fill up the tank with about 11 gallons, gas even came out a little bit, and when i look at the gas meter, it stayed at 3/4.
i know for a fact its full, ive drove the car about 35 miles, and its still in the same spot.
any help on how to fix this??

i wouldn't worry about the battery its gotta be some little connection on the tank. double check everything you did and make sure you didn't miss the connection. if its an electrical connection (idk if it is) maybe spray it with some automotive electronic cleaner for a better connection. if its a manual connection it's probably the 'level measure' (idk what its caled) floating the the gas tank probably.
lol sadly my 09 ss does this sometimes... shut the car off and a few starts later it registers full again. then take it for a drive to teh grocery store and back and suddenly the 5km i drove took it down 1/4 of a tank. dunno about yours but the gas gauges in these cars are wonky..
probably not the same issue but just thought i'd share. like others said check your connections.

I've had this happen to me once, although I never did any fuel work to my car.
I just accidentally stalled my car out and when I started it back up my meter was past E.
It was like that for a couple miles, but then slowly started to rise back up to the right level.
