This morning when I went to work I threw on the defroster to get the chill out. I set it at 2 and let its do its thing. A moment later I noticed it seemed to be gaining and losing power, so I turned it off. The only problem is that it didnt go off, it got STRONGER. Then, a few moments after that it did turn off only to turn itself BACK ON. It happened again on the way home from work as well. Power to everything else is normal, car seems fine otherwise.

Any ideas as to whats up? Its kinda freakin me out.

Sounds like your resistor (I think that's the "proper" name ) could possibly be hosed. Had the exact same thing happen on my Cavy...take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

 

Its clearly electrical, why is my weak point when it comes to cars. Luckily its going in for inspection tomorrow, so hopefully theyll kill a few birds with one stone.

 

I heard that some guy got killed putting together an 05' 2.2 ls he got cought up in the wireing when they were puttin' in the a/c stuff and hung himself. you just might have that car.?!?

so today it was only coming one when I hit the brakes. The REALLY weird thing about that is that it would come on in proportion to how hard I hit the brakes.

 

apparently I blew some fuses.. freakish this early I guess. But get this. When the put the trim pieces back on, they didnt go on flush. It looks like hell now, if i have to rip them back off I might as well paint them. Any idea how they attach? I dont want to wail on them.
