GM lost my Car?

some of you may know that my car broke the other day
i was driving on the trans canada, and there was a loud bang from under my feet, i never hit anything i was just cruising on the hwy at around 110km/h and and not even a sec after the noise, my car started to slide and then spun uncontrollably doing a complete 360 until my car hit the snow bank and proceeded into the median, (it was a separated section so i was in the giant grass) so after trying to drive my car out on to the hwy, an ambulance happen to pull over and give me a push, i got back on the hwy drove to the next exit and called Road side assistance, the towing company droped my car off at Forbes Chevrolet and i called them this morning and now they tell me they cant find my car, and they have no idea where it is, at first they said it was at Macphees, but then they called back to tell me its nowhere to be found

warranty better cover this, lol if they did lose it what will happen ive never herd of anything like this happening
if GM says im on my own can i claim it stolen through my insurance?

I think your insurance will cover it. Either way, you should call them and let them know. Are you sure the "towing" company was a real company and not someone stealing your car? Also, I would try and catch a ride to the dealership and double check. It could be there, and they just don't know it.

no idea, there is no evidence of my car hitting anything other then the snow bank after the noise, but the snow bank hit the rear drivers side, the front bumper was still in tact, and was actually spot less minus the mud that was all over the car from entering the median,

there was nothing on the hwy, i took a walk to double check..

-19C which is -2F for the majority of ppl on here lol

black ice sucks, my last car i spun in the city on an offramp but was lucky as ****, just bounced off the snow built up infront of the curbs and no damage to the car.

nope. i work at a dealer and the closest thing i've seen is the tow truck driver taking it to the dealer next door by accident thinking it was us. but we've always found them. and your gps that is in the car for the onstar should still be able to be accessed in the case of a theft by the police and onstar, maybe give onstar a call and see if they can do anything even though you're not subscribed.

id call the towing company and find out exactly were they dropped the car off. my shop has had this problem, had customers call and say they are having their car towed in, 2 days later call again asking if we had a look at it, and we dont even have the car. the couple times this has happened it turned out to be the tow truck driver was getting kick backs from another shop for bringing jobs to them.

the only problem with this is that, the driver droped me and the car off at the dealer, then after he left i took a cab home, (just so everyone knows it would have been around 5am on a sun when this happend)

oh ok then, that makes sence. so go to the dealer and see if your car is still sitting in the same place. were did you put the key, did they have an after hours key drop box/slot??? if so, and they no longer have the key, then something is fishy. if they have the key and no car, id say it got stolen out of the lot.

either way....

it shows how irresponsible some dealerships can be. i mean yeah its not always there fault but in my opinon they should account for every car at the beggining of the day. either way good luck man!
