Have a fuel leak

So the line that connects to the fuel rail has a leak at the quick connect was wondering if I can just cut it and put in a rubber hose that is made for fuel lines and some hose clamps and be done thanks guys

Im sure you can
Start the car and pull the fuel pump fuse first to let the psi out
