headlight wiring help needed!!!!
ok, so long story short, three of the wires on my buddies headlight harness got cut. Not the harness that plugs into the bulbs in the headlight, but the main harness that powers everything.
what's the easiest way to repin these wires into the clip? neither of us are good with electrical. in fact, we're terrible haha
please help! he's padiddling because he only has one headlight!!

Solder a peice in if they cannot be soldered end to end.
Put some shrink wrap on them or tape them up real well.
Another option is a butt splice that will crimp the two ends together after each end is stripped slightly of its insulation. ,easiest option.
You can buy them in any auto supply store .Just make sure they are the right size for the wires you are connecting.
And use the proper crimp tool not a pair of pliers.
They are color coded and you will most likely need the pink ones.
Also tape it for good measure.

BUT DO NOT USE cheap butt connectors and tape! Make sure you buy the "Crimp-n-seal" or "duraseal" type connectors. These are ones you heat up after you crimp them and they shrink wrap themselves and seal connection with adhesive. They are A LOT more expensive(like $.75-$1.00 each as opposed to 25 for $3.99) but worth EVERY cent and the easiest way to make a proper durable weathertight repair
This is an acceptable repair(acutally the GM approved method, for wire breaks)
