Heat Sheild

I am thinking bout removing the heat shield from my car, would this affect anything?

Depends on which heat shield you are talking about......i wouldnt remove the one between the exhaust and the fuel tank if that is the one you are talking about.

Heat shield around stock exhaust manifold? Take it off. It does nothing. lol.

the heat sheild between where the downpipe connects to the cat-back and the under carriage of the car. the one that is in the trans tunnel if our cars were rear wheel drive.

I think it raddles when I WOT my car and it's annoying, and if there is no purpose of having it I'm gonna remove it.
