it's cool to see a community for cobalts, i was apart of one when i had my vette buut anyways.

today on my way back from a camping trip, i ran over a rock and gouged a hole in the oil pan. sooo, how hard is it to take it off? do i have to pull the engine to drop the oil pan?

 

no everything is pretty open on the bottom of the motor, however you may need to remove the a/c compressor, i know its down low on the side of the motor, not sure if it bolts to the side of the oil pan.
