Help

The weirdest thing is happening to my car. I turned the car off and inside door handle wouldn't open the door, so I had to roll down the window and open it from the outside. Then the door would not close. Now the passenger door won't open from the inside or the outside. Anyone have this problem??

thats very strange. does the door handle stick? like the latch stays open? My gf's elantra GT had a prob like this on the rear hatch. the door wouldnt shut until you played with the mechanism so that it locks when you close it.

Door handles arent electric in this car, if you have a problem, then its mechanical.

+1 mechanicals!! did the lock/unlock stick peg thing go up and down? does the handle pull but nothing happens?

The door locks go up and down. But the inside handle won't open the door intermittantly. And the outside does the same and it's happening to both doors. Also they won't close some times.

how cold does it get where you are? Is this still a problem or does it happen sometimes and then the doors open fine? Im thinking the cold could have cracked a plastic mechanism for the inside door handle. only thing i'd do in your situation is pull the door apart and look for something thats not working when you pull the handle. take pics if you cant find anything and post them here.
