Question Help!!

I took off at a red light today and as soon as i let the clutch out the car car had no power. The gauge said engine power reduced. so i drove home at 40 mph have any of you had this problem??? plz help

hasn't happened to me before... but I've heard of it... mentioned on this site a few times... it's best to shut off the car and restart it...

I did and the engine kep shaking so im probably gonna get it towed to shop

Did it set a CEL?
If not, try unhooking the battery. That got rid of mine.
Mine was because I forgot to plug my MAF sensor back in after messing with it. Oops
Power Reduction mode seems to be caused when the PCM feels it can no longer "control" the engine safely.
