help..Girlfriends car take 2

Im back with another problem with my girlfriends car. It seems to be struggling a little more to get to places...more sluggish. Its an auto ls coupe.....2.2l

1. The car especially on the highway seems to have more trouble than usual to keep speed at normal especially on hills. The gas pedal needs to be pressed further than normal and the car has to run at 3500 to 4000 rpms to make it up any hill at 65mph.
2. The transmission also seems to take longer to engage from gear to gear. Pedal needs to be pressed further to get to shift.

-All of the problems seem like the car is in limp mode.
-Car did throw code but autozone couldnt read it...plus they said it had a miss in the idle.
-Light went away though and hasnt came back since.
-Took to dealer but they said nothing is found even with scanner and data logging while test driving.

Any ideas??..Havent looked at car yet im out of state for the moment.

Nope..bone stock

I actually just got off the phone with her and she said that the dealership finally called gm after the 4th time back for the same problem. GM said its a bad ground for these cars so we will see monday when she goes back.

Anybody else have problems with bad grounds yet?? Its a brand new 06.

Didn't someone with a SS/SC have grouding problems a long time ago? I seem to remember someone with engine issues... and that turned out to be the problem.

Did you ever find out what the dealership had to say about the swishing noise coming from the axle?
2. Noise from pass side front tire (i think), sounds like wheel bearing going out. When i heard it it only made the noise in left turns, but now she says it does it more often.
That one.

never found out about the axle they said it was fine even though we keep telling them something is wrong. We are still in and out with the dealership about all her issues. They will eventually all get taken care of.

I had a problem with whooshing sounds coming from my cavalier that I had before my cobalt. I took it in constantly about the noise and they NEVER said they could find a problem. Finally I go sick of their bull**** and took the wheel off and started palying around. Turned out that the driver side caliper was bad and was slow to disengage after hitting the brakes causing a "whoosh-whoosh-whoosh" noise constantly that was mostly noticable at slow speeds. I finally got it replaced after I bitched and bitched at them that that had to be the problem.

If you find anything out about it will you PM me? And I'll do the same if we get it fixed when we take it in, in august or late July. I'll also mention the caliper sticking as well and have them check that along with the axle and bearings.

Me...

Car constantly died or was a No start... they replaced the started and some other crap...

Turned out to be a loose wire ground wire under the left headlight that needed to be retapped.

My Sedan had that problem and it would send a voltage spike to the ECU because of my $300 automatic car starter
