Help! Locked keys in car!

I need to get my keys out of my car. they are just sitting on my seat...

Does anyone have advice on how to get my cobalt open? A picture of the inside of the door would help if anyone has one.

Thanks!

Hey, anyone see that Family Guy episode when Peter locks his keys out of the car?!

He's in the car staring out the window and the keys are on the ground and someone walks by and he's like "Excuse me!" and points to the keys. ROFL!

ive done it before to only i have spare remote for my aftermarket alarm.
The sucky thing is most of the cobalts have cable locks, except for the 4 door sedans. So thats another reason of many they call them un stealable
Try POP A LOCK, their expensive tho but get the job done.

wedge open the top of the door and use a slim jim or coat hanger to try and press the unlock button

Honestly, just call GM roadside. they will come unlock it for free provided you are in warranty.

im still in warranty and i have power locks and such, I think ill just try to pry the top of the door.

im not pissed enough yet to try a brick :P

I dont have onstar though, and my car is in the driveway, will roadside come to my house?

And for that matter how does roadside do it? I do have a jimmy set, but its from the late 70's and dosnt work to well on newer cars lol

If someone has an extra unlock remote they can transmit it over cell phone signals and it will unlock it, done it several times, your best bet would be GM roadside probably.

Yah I unlocked my car just to try it with the cell phone trick. Works pretty good but you both have to be on a cell.

Say your out on the town and realise you left the keys in the ignition but you have your cell with you. You phone home and get someone on there cell. Ask them to grab the spare boble hold it to there cell speaker and you hol your phone close to the car and when they hit the unlock, walla car unlocked. Radio waves will pretty much move through any medium.

same princible as on-star.
