help with wing.(quick)

im workin on takin my wing off right now.. and i cant get the ****** thing off.. i heated it for 5-10 mins with a har dryer.. is that just not long enough or what? im also using tar and bug remover and fishing string and i still cant get it off.. what am i doing wrong?

its a super putty of silicone or some sort that they use to seal it down and they also bolt it down on top of that i belive....the putty is extremely difficult to get off especially w/o damaging anything...its why most people swap trunks for a wingless, alot of heat can cause damage to your paint but should loosen it up...im sry i cant give you more help.....suggest swapping for a wingless tho

pft it's a pita!!!! been there done that and everything your tried as well. you just gotta ****** pull n tug on that bitch for awhile. i even used a large flat head to try n seperate the adhesive that holds it on. i also used a towel so the flat head wouldn't scrape the paint. i'm sure you're smart enough but you did take the nuts off the bolts correct?

lol yea i took them off..im pullin pretty hard on it to l. i just dont wanna mess the trunk up... and im heatin it from underneath where u take the nuts off.. but it just seems like im not really getting anywhere with it

use some fishing line and pull it through the tar/sticky/super glue ****. just make sure to heat it good
