Hesitation problems? Not accelerating??
I was on my way home from running errands tonight. Its raining pretty bad out here, and the temp is about 38 degrees. So I make a right onto my street coming home, and I open her up a little to speed up.
Well, all the sudden, its starts hesitating BAD, and not allowing me to accelerate. I try to speed up but it just keeps hesitating, jerking, and sputtering. Sounds almost like it was trying to stall out. So I pull over, turn off the car, and sit for a few. I start it up again, and the same problem. I had to do about 15-20 mph back home because it wouldnt go any faster because it was sputtering soo badly.
Two kinda weird things though. When I let off the gas and put it in clutch (neutral), the sputtering stopped, and it only sputted when I was actually in 1st gear tryin to accelerate. It also DIDNT throw any check engine lights at all.
Does anyone have any idea wtf is going on??

Mine kind of did something similar to that, minus the actual sputtering. It would finally catch though and let me shift. Then finally it threw a CEL. Have you noticed the clutch not needing as much pressure to put down as usual? Mine's doing that too, but I'm thinking its because I have a leak in the evap. hose again. Hope it works out for you.
